Happy Third Birthday Simpy
« AOL's Funny SMTP Message | Main | Simpy-Java API Version 1.3 Available »
It's been too quiet on this blog. Nobody liked quit blogs, so here is a little something to fill the void. Did you know that it has been over three years since Simpy came to life? Yes, earlier this month Simpy quietly celebrated its third birthday! As such, Simpy is one of the oldest bookmarking services, as you can see on Philipp Keller's timeline in his Tag history and gartners hype cycles post. I'm looking forward to Simpy's next birthday. Cake, cake, cake!

Many congrats to you and Simpy, Otis! :) One question, though: wasn't Simpy's predecessor, the one you used only personally before releasing it for us all to enjoy, a bit older than just 3 years?

Indeed, Simpy is over 3 years old, actually. However, it has been 3 years since it's been publicly running. Before that it was....in the womb, so to speak.
Congrats, Otis, for running this great service. Featurewise, Simpy is for me the best bookmarking service of 'em all!
Thanks simpy, i got some nice bookmarking site from you ....... one thing i have to ask, how can i post here in netvouz, i have created account in but there are no option such of "del.icio.us" and "reddit" .. Thanks

"post here in netvouz"? What do you mean by that? Where are there no del.icio.us and reddit options? In Netvouz? You better ask the Netvouz guy then.
